NO SURPLUS VEHICLES WILL BE SOLD AT THIS AUCTION
Sale of Surplus Vehicles
Chesterfield County and Chesterfield County School vehicles that are
removed from service and declared surplus are no longer sold through
public auctions conducted by Chesterfield County.
Chesterfield County has contracted with Southside Virginia Auto Auction
(SVAA) for sale of surplus county and school vehicles, except school
buses. SVAA is located at the intersection of West Hundred Road (State
Route 10) and Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1 & 301) in Chester,
VA. SVAA conducts two auctions weekly and any Chesterfield County vehicles
would be sold at the Thursday night auction.
For information pertaining to upcoming sales that may include Chesterfield
County vehicles, SVAA may be contacted at 804-796-6556. The Chesterfield
County Fleet Management Office can also be contacted at 804-768-7378
for information as to plans for sending vehicles to SVAA.
School buses taken out of service will be sold through sealed Invitation
for Bids conducted by Chesterfield County.
