Yard Waste Collection

The county provides a year round yard waste collection program which includes leaves and grass clippings.  Each 32-gallon bag (preferably bio-degradable) or can must have a yard waste tag attached to it in order to be collected.  Each tag costs $1.50 and are sold in sheets of five at a time.  Yard waste collection is scheduled every Friday; therefore, residents must call for service each week by 4 p.m. on Wednesday to be scheduled for collection.  In weeks with holidays, there will be no yard waste collection.  Weekly yard waste collection will not be made during leaf collection season.
