Bagged Leaf Collection

Bagged leaves are collected on a per bag fee.  This service is available on Fridays, year round. During the months of November through January, bagged leaf collection is scheduled every day of the week.  Yard waste tags are required on each leaf bag.  This service must be scheduled prior to the requested collection through our customer service representatives by calling 748-1297.

By using yard waste tags ($1.50 per bag) the resident can have their leaves collected in bags at the street by county forces.

Bagged Leaf Collection Fee and Requirements

The fee of $1.50 per bag collected (available year round).

• Requires the use of yard waste tags
• Use one tag per bag
• Residents are urged to use biodegradable bags; however, plastic bags are acceptable
• Bag size (regardless of type) must not exceed 40 gallons

Leaf Burning

• Burning PROHIBITED at all times in areas shown on map.
• Leaf burning is usually PERMITTED in remainder of the county during the following times:
  • November 15 - December 15; 8 a.m. Monday until noon on Friday.
  • March 15 to April 15; Monday - Thursday, 4 p.m. to midnight.
