Are you or someone you know thinking about suicide or struggling with feelings of hopelessness?  Are you concerned about someone who may be experiencing severe, acute symptoms of mental illness or emotional disorder?

Our Services

  • Telephone crisis intervention
  • Emergency mental health screening and assessment
  • Crisis counseling and Intervention
  • Safety planning
  • Crisis consultation and referrals
  • Coordination with other professionals

Who can get services with the Emergency Services team?

  • Chesterfield County resident
  • Any person physically located within the county who is at significant risk for harm due to mental health concerns.

How are services paid for?

  • We accept most major forms of insurance. 
  • If you don’t have insurance, we also offer services using our sliding fee schedule based on your ability to pay.

How do I contact the Emergency Services team?

  • Staff availability to respond to calls and requests for services, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, 804-748-6356.

NOTE: Inpatient hospitalization is only considered after all other community resources are explored with the individual and family (if applicable).
