Teens to Adult Transition
"Teens to Adult Transitions" is an exciting initiative
by the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Department of Social Services
that is aimed at improving the quality of service delivery for
our teens in foster care. These efforts are directed toward developing
independent life skills, stability and permanency for these teens.
In addition to these benefits is an increased monthly stipend for
the foster family from what the state allows ($449/month) to $1000/month
along with supportive services.
