AARP - the official Web site of the American Association of Retired Persons contains information geared toward people 50 and over.

Aging Well - Aging Well, a New York State Office for the Aging web site, offers informative articles and links, tasty recipes, a nutritional risk assessment and more for healthy and enjoyable eating.

Elderhostel - the Web site of the Elderhostel organization provides information on their educational adventures programs for those 55 or older.

Eldernet - Eldernet is an easy-to-use, information-filled site. It is a senior’s guide to -- health, legal, financial, retirement, senior lifestyles, travel, activities and fun, news and entertainment information -- on the Internet.

Firstgov for Seniors - “The U.S. Government’s official Internet portal,” is designed to provide you with an easy, one-step access to all online federal government resources and some state resources. Click on the word “Seniors” on the right side of the page, under “By Audience.” This will take you to FirstGov for Seniors. Click “other audiences” to reach information in Spanish, Hmong and other languages.
Medline Drug Information

Food Safety - This Food Safety site is provided by The FDA and the USDA. When it comes to the safe handling of food, we can never know too much. Our ability to fight-off dangerous bacteria that may invade our bodies through the food we eat changes as we age.

Medline Drug Information - Information about more than 9,000 prescription and over-the-counter medications can be found on this very reputable web site, MEDLINEplus. If you click on the “Site Map.” choice on the top right, you will be taken to a page giving you an overview of what is available, including “Easy-to-Read” and “low vision” options. Also in Spanish.

Seniorcitizens.com - Seniorcitizens.com has a section on scams that provides links to Internet sites about various types of frauds senior citizens are exposed to and how to deal with them effectively.
