Pest Problems
Insects – Aphids on new growth, scale, grasshoppers.

Diseases – Leaf spots.

Abiotic – Summer sun scorch.

Cultivars
"Bloodgood" – New foliage is brilliant red deepening to dark red. "Burgundy Lace" – Red leaves are very deeply lobed. "Dissectum" – Also called thread-leaf, has very fine, doubly lobed green leaves. Many other cultivars.
