The Day Reporting Center serves substance-addicted offenders that are sentenced to at least six months in jail from a court in the 12th Judicial District. Additional requirements include no prior record of violence (as defined by 19.2-316.1 of the Criminal Code of Virginia), arson, or felony sex offenses.
2. What is the duration of services offered to clients at the Day
Reporting Center?
Services at the DRC are self-paced. It takes a minimum of six months to complete the core curriculum.
3. What services are provided at the DRC?
Services include intensive supervision, outpatient substance abuse therapy, individual/family counseling, frequent drug screening, community service monitoring, job skill training, and Moral Reconation Therapy
4. How does an individual receive services from the DRC?
All clients are referred to the DRC from the court as a sentencing alternative.
