Community Input Meeting - Chief of Police Search Process

The county is currently recruiting for its next Chief of Police. National advertisement began July 18 and the deadline for interested candidates to submit resumes to the executive search firm is August 17. The executive search firm, Springsted|Waters, will hold sessions to give the public the opportunity to provide input on the knowledge, skills, and abilities they feel the new Chief of Police should possess.

 

For those unable to attend one of the public input sessions, Springsted|Waters is also offering an online survey.  The survey covers the same topics as those that will be addressed during the public input sessions.  A link to the online survey is currently posted on the county's website at chesterfield.gov. The online survey will be available until August 17.
