Things to remember

  • An officer of election must complete training prior to working in his/her first election. This training requirement repeats every three years with the start of a new term of service (i.e. March 1, 2018 - February 28, 2021).
  • The Chief Officer will contact you approximately 30 days before the election to see if you can work.
  • Becoming an Officer of Election (OOE) does not guarantee that you will work every election.
  • For your service, you will earn a minimum of $150.
  • All OOE’s are eligible to vote an Absentee Ballot. Officers may request an absentee ballot mailed to their home or take advantage of In-Person Absentee Voting before Election Day.
