About the Committee

The Diversity Advisory Committee was formed in 1989 as one of the county’s key initiatives to expand and enhance equal employment opportunity in all management practices.

The Committee serves as an advisory body to the county administrator through the Director of Human Resource Management on issues related to the Equal Opportunity Plan.

The committee is composed of thirteen county employees representing the major divisions of Chesterfield County.
