FY 2007 – 2008 Strategic Plan
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office develops a Strategic Plan to address both organizational and customer service needs. The Strategic Plan addresses the goals and objectives of the department within the framework of Chesterfield County’s Strategic Plan. Employees representing all levels and divisions of the Sheriff’s Office review the needs of the department and make suggestions as to what initiatives should be pursued to meet the overall goals and objectives of both the Sheriff’s Office and the County.
This document outlines the mission of the Sheriff’s Office as well as our goals, objectives and initiatives. It also addresses key performance and operational trends. Our goals and objectives policy, which guides the overall implementation of the plan, is also included so that you can understand the process by which strategic planning is managed.
