MarkerStorm Drain Marking

Ever wonder what happens to water after it goes down the storm drain? Help educate fellow citizens about the importance of not polluting by applying storm drain markers in neighborhoods. These markers publicize the message “ No Dumping” and identify the local creek receiving storm drain water. This short-term project can be accomplished on your own schedule. We recommend that you work with the community association to gain approval for the project and educate the citizens about the project. The Office of Water Quality provides all maps, signs, and supplies to complete the project.

Stormdrain

Volunteer opportunities include Stream Watcher, Lake Monitor, and Storm Drain Marking. All training and supplies provided by the Office of Water Quality. Please see the Human Resources Management Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.
