Transportation Summit - Virginia State University

Following a presentation on the state of the county’s transportation system, nine existing funding options for additional road revenue were presented to the Board of Supervisors.

The Board was also briefed on potential funding options, as well as potential changes for meeting transportation needs.

Following a citizen comment period and a discussion regarding the next steps, the Board directed staff to explore each of the existing funding options.

The meeting adjourned at 2:36 p.m. until November 21, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. for the next regularly scheduled meeting in the Public Meeting Room.
