6:00 P.M. SESSION

A moment of silence was held for the families of Travis Turner and Jordan Sebia, who tragically lost their lives while canoeing on Swift Creek Reservoir.

Colonel Carl Baker and Chief Paul Mauger provided details of investigative and search and rescue efforts by the Police and Fire and Emergency Medical Services Departments, which led to the recovery of the victims’ bodies. 

WORK SESSIONS

A work session was held regarding the County Administrator’s FY2007-FY2008 Biennial Financial Plan, with presentations from the Social Services Board, Commonwealth’s Attorney; Sheriff’s Office; County Administrator’s FY2007 proposed overall budget; and Human Services Division.
