Legislative Priorities

Strategic Goal: To be exemplary stewards of public trust and a model for excellence in government

• To secure adequate funding for transportation needs in the county
• Protect Cash Proffer Authority
• Protect local government land use and zoning authority
• Protect local revenues
• Prevent state cost-shifting to localities
• Oppose additional state mandates

Support/Oppose

• Support a budget amendment to fund the dual treatment program for non-violent offenders suffering from mental illness / substance addiction
