We’re Moving to a new location!

The Access Chesterfield Offices are relocating to Chesterfield County’s Citizen Information and Resources Department.

We expect to be moving the week of April 30 – May 4, 2018.

During this week, there will be no walk-in service at the Whitepine Road Offices.

Mailed registrations and voucher sales will be processed as usual during the transition.

NOTE: There is no service on Sunday.

Requirements

  • Must be a Chesterfield County Resident
  • Eligibility status
  • Registered with Access Chesterfield

Registration

  • Registration is free, quick, and easy.
  • Purchase your Access Chesterfield transportation vouchers at any Chesterfield County Library or order them through the mail.
    • Voucher Order Form 
    • You must present your ID card when purchasing vouchers
    • A book of 6 vouchers cost $36.
    • One voucher is good for a one-way trip.

Scheduling a Trip

Reservations

  • Plan your trip.
  • Must be made in advance.
  • For next day service, call 804-545-7222, between

Monday-Friday
8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

  • The passenger must be identified as an Access Chesterfield customer when the reservation is made.
  • Tell the reservation agent the
    • appointment time
    • pickup address
    • destination location and address.
  • If a return trip is needed, please notify the agent and give the pickup time.
  • If the customer will be accompanied by an aide,
    • please notify the reservation agent.
    • eligible passengers may travel with one aide free of charge
    • an aide must be aged 18 or older.
  • If wheelchair accessibility is required, please notify the reservation agent.
  • The reservation agent will provide a pickup window time.

Changing your trip

  • Changes cannot be made the day of your trip.
  • Call Reservations at 804-545-7222 as soon as you realize you must make a change to your scheduled trip.

NOTE: The driver is not allowed to change a drop-off location.

Canceling a scheduled trip

  • If you are unable to take a trip you have scheduled, call 804-545-7222 as soon as possible to cancel it, but no later than two hours before your scheduled pickup time.

NOTE: Five (5) same-day cancelations within a three-month period will result in a 30-day suspension of riding privileges.
